During their decade-long quest to defeat the Demon King, the members of the hero's party—Himmel, the priest Heiter, the dwarven warrior Eisen, and the elven mage Frieren—forge deep bonds through countless adventures and battles, creating cherished memories for most of them.
However, for Frieren, whose life spans over a thousand years, the time spent with her comrades is but a fleeting moment. After their victory, the group disbands, and Frieren casually returns to her "normal" routine of wandering the continent in search of spells. Her perception of time leaves her seemingly indifferent to the experiences she shared with her companions.
As years go by, Frieren gradually realizes the profound impact her time with the hero's party had on her. Witnessing the deaths of two former comrades, she begins to regret taking their presence for granted and vows to better understand humans while forming genuine connections. Though the tale of that legendary journey ended long ago, a new chapter is about to unfold.
