Laios Touden, a valiant knight on a quest for adventure, leads a small band through an extensive dungeon fraught with perilous monsters and treacherous traps. Utilizing advanced magic, explorers have the chance of resurrection, granting them the opportunity to learn from their mistakes and embark on another attempt to navigate the labyrinthine depths. However, when Falin, Laios' sister and a skilled spellcaster, is consumed by a formidable dragon, she employs her powers to send her brother and his comrades back to the dungeon's entrance, sparing them from permanent demise.
Despite facing financial constraints and lacking essential equipment, Laios is determined to traverse the dungeon and rescue Falin before she meets her fate in the dragon's belly. Despite the desertion of some allies, Laios is accompanied by two steadfast companions: Marcille Donato, an elven mage, and Chilchuck Tims, a resourceful halfling locksmith. Hindered by financial limitations, the party grapples with the looming threat of starvation before they can fulfill their mission. However, their fortunes change when they encounter Senshi, a dwarven warrior renowned for his culinary skills and knack for preparing and consuming fallen monsters.
With Senshi's culinary prowess aiding their journey, Laios and his companions navigate the perilous depths of the dungeon, all the while discovering the art of gourmet cuisine—and unraveling the mysteries of their companions' pasts.
