Rentarou Aijou seems to have everything—good looks, intelligence, athletic ability, and the admiration of his peers and mentors. However, none of these traits have helped him in love. On the day of his middle school graduation, he faces yet another heartbreak, marking his 100th rejection in a row. Feeling hopeless, he visits a matchmaking shrine and wishes to finally find a girlfriend in high school.

To his surprise, the shrine’s god appears and reveals that he is destined to meet an incredible total of 100 soulmates during high school. Skeptical at first, Rentarou quickly changes his mind when, on his very first day, he encounters two of them—Hakari Hanazono and Karane Inda—both of whom confess their love to him. With destiny at play and romance unfolding at every turn, Rentarou’s high school life is about to become far more eventful than he ever imagined.
